Choose where budgets come from, which chart of accounts they follow, and which fiscal calendar they use — before anyone creates one.

Build a budget in FinBoard: name it, split it by dimension, upload your files, map the accounts, and mark it active.
03Use a budget in reports
Add budget-versus-actual columns to a report in the FinBoard plugin, with variance and over/under.
04Consolidated budgets
Roll entity budgets up to a group, choose which budget each entity contributes, and map budget accounts when an entity's chart differs from the parent's.
