FinBoard allows restructuring and renaming of your chart of accounts. This enables you to customise and generate different versions of your core financial statements
For example, while analysing P&L - you can remove certain categories that are either one-time, you can rename categories that are confusing to other stakeholders or you could combine certain categories for reporting purpose. All this would help you create different versions of P&L/ Balance Sheet/ Cashflow
This can be configured from the web application. Steps are mentioned below:
Select the company (dropdown on top left)
Go to the the Consolidation tab β
Define the new Chart of Accounts structure in the blank section
Drag and drop the created accounts to reorder them
Complete this for the Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow

You will see the QuickBooks Chart of Accounts on the left. Select these accounts and map them to the new structure
